About Sindy P.

With a passion for people, art and learning, it is no wonder that Sindy P. ended up exactly where she is. It was a long (and fun!) road to get here, however, now in the midst of her "calling," Sindy says it was Zentagle that found her, and not the other way around.

Sindy P's interest in zen art blossomed one summer when a friend and (now fellow) Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT), Adele Bruno, invited Sindy to a new class that she was teaching. Armed with pen and paper, not really knowing what to expect, Sindy P. found meaning in everything that she had been doing up until that point, all with a few organized, sketched-out lines of black ink.

From that point forward, Sindy P. has lived and breathed Zentangle. From becoming a CZT in half the time that it usually takes someone, to authoring her first Zentangle workbook, titled "Real Life Strings," all within a matter of months, you can say that Sindy P. has truly found her passion and calling in life. It is with this excitement that she looks forward to sharing this fascinating and fun art form with as many people possible.

About Real Life Strings

At the same time that Sindy P. was learning how to Zentangle, she was also taking a class to further her photography skills. While looking back at pictures from her travels around the world, Sindy made a surprising discovery. The photos that she was taking could also be tangled!

After sharing this find with her Zentangle teacher, Adele, the two agreed that this was too good to not do anything with it. Thus, "Real Life Strings" was born!
